For all CPA Exam Candidates – NTS extensions

The Notice to Schedule (NTS) for all candidates with NTS expirations between April 1 – June 30, 2020 is extended until September 30, 2020 – this was approved by the Board at its April board meeting.  Candidates will see automatic extensions to the NTS which will be updated by CPA Exam Services (CPAES).

For all CPA Exam Candidates – Expiring Exam Credits due to Test Center Closures

All candidates with an open NTS and exam credits expiring through June 30, 2020 – and because of Prometric Test Center closures, the candidate may not be able to sit for the remaining parts by June 30, 2020 to pass all 4 parts of the exam – the Board will consider extension requests of those expiring exam credits on a case-by-case basis.  After test centers have been reopened, please email the board at with your information for review by the board.

For all licensed CPAs – Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

Many CPE vendors are offering significantly more CPE courses online in response to the COVID-19 stay-at-home mandates.  As a reminder, there is no limit to the number of CPE hours a Louisiana CPA can earn through online courses.
